Since the launch of Reserve with Google in the United States, many businesses have begun allowing their customers to book their services through a Google search. For this, customers only have to click on the blue reserve button that we will see appear when looking for a certain business. Recently, Google has enabled new ways for businesses to add a booking button from their Google My Business account.
To include our own booking button we need to sign in to Google My Business. If we have an account with any of the Google-compatible event scheduling providers, the button will be added automatically. Otherwise, Google will offer us the option to register for one of these services. As soon as we have done so we can have our reservation button in operation.
One of the biggest advantages of the implementation of the reservation button is the possibility of keeping a record of them, which will allow us to know the percentage of the customers that arrive at our business thanks to Google. In fact, we can consult even the benefits obtained. To mention some of the providers available, Google allows us to work with Pike13, Setmore, Shore or Genbook, among many others.
At this point we can not deny the utility of the function, which will be available in the coming days in the United States. In addition, the technology giant has confirmed that it hopes to start offering this option in new countries very soon. As always, we will remain attentive to any developments related to the matter.
