FINALLY, GOOGLE ASSISTANT IS AVAILABLE IN SPANISH

The day of the presentation of the new Pixel, all Spanish speakers were a bit disappointed and is that they presented several new languages of Google Assistant and among them did not include Spanish, which is currently the second most spoken language in the world.

But something that was known is that the Google assistant in Spanish would arrive sooner or later and has been "earlier" than later because, finally, Google Assistant is now available for everyone in Spanish.

Until a few days ago it was only possible to use the Google assistant using Google Allo, but obviously it was not the best experience for the user, finally, and for those who have an Android smartphone with a version higher than Android 6.0 Marshmallow will come the new assistant of those of Alphabeat.

Luckily the requirements are simple, a screen in HD and more than 1.5 GB of RAM and of course, as I said before Android 6.0 Marshmallow or higher. It will be a big breakthrough for all, since the experience is very similar to Google Now, but in a very natural and surprisingly intelligent way, or at least it is the experience that I have with the assistant in English.

As is normal in all Google news releases, it is being done gradually, as it happened with its English output, so it is possible that in the next few days you will start Google Now and skip the setup wizard. Google Assistant, something that will undoubtedly please more than one.

As a personal recommendation, I would recommend restarting the mobile device at least once a day, to force the checking of updates and in some way, force the "switch" that activates Assistant in Spanish, as it happened with its implementation in the English language.

And you, do you think Assistant will be up to the task?
