Three options to know if the emails you send have been read or not

If you are the one who asks if the email you just sent has been opened or you should not know that there are several ways to find out.

It happens to almost all levels, but especially in the professional: we send an important email to someone and, after a reasonable time (or not), the question comes to mind: will it respond or is it not yet read?

Because yes, there are tools that perform the same function as the double blue check in WhatsApp, informing if the recipient has received our message and opened it ... or if you have not yet seen it. Here are three tools to do it:

1. Mailtrack

A tool of the simplest and, also, made in Spain. How can we define Mailtrack in a few words? We give you the best slogan possible: Mailtrack is the 'double check' of WhatsApp, but taken to email.

Just install it as an extension of your email. From then on, when your recipient opens the email, the application will notify you of it. You can use it for free, although in that case the receiver will know that you have turned to Mailtrack, or pay a monthly fee to be able to use it anonymously.

2. MailTag

It is the latest news, and as simple as a mere extension for our browser. MailTag is installed as a Google Chrome add-on and once in operation it is able to tell us if our recipient has read the email or not and send us a notification when it has done so.

But it does not stay there: this tool also gives us other interesting information, such as how long our recipient has gone through the email opened, something that may suggest if you have read it calmly or if on the contrary has just thrown a glance over. If you enter the email several times, MailTag will also notify us.

Finally, it will also notify you if your recipient has downloaded the attachments that you could include, or if you have visited the links that you included in the message. This way, you will have a complete statistics of what happened to the email you sent.

Tools like MailTag will do you good if you are an isolated professional, but also if you are a company that is starting in email marketing campaigns and you want to know in detail what happens with your emails.

3. Acumbamail

If you definitely have a company that is dedicated to doing marketing campaigns by email, you are interested in trying Acumbamail. This is another Spanish project that adds several advantages over the previous options.

Acumbamail gives you an exact tour of what has happened with your email: if it has been opened, if not, how long it has remained open, if the receiver has punched in some type of link ... and will even let you know if the email has arrived in the inbox, the promotions or the spam ... In short, you will have an accurate analytics.

It is a tool that will be very useful especially if you need to send a large volume of emails at a time. But do not be a spammer, eh?
