The Tamagotchi returns

If you were born in the middle of the 80's you will probably play during your later childhood with Japanese little machines that came into our lives and where we had to take care of some nice virtual pets. It was the Tamagotchi, and now they return.

The teachers went crazy in the mid-90's when these virtual pets that did not do more pittering, defecating and asking for food broke out in our society. They came from another planet and were born in eggs that had to be incubated for several hours. If you did not take care of them, they would go back where they had come or, directly, they would die.

Now, on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the arrival of the first Tamagotchi, the company that sold them and that came to sponsor Atletico Madrid, Bandai, has decided to put them back for sale, albeit in a limited series.

The Tamagotchi will return on November 5 in their initial size, with the only three buttons that had the originals and the same functionalities. A return to the past with all of the law.

The most passionate can already book them through a chain of Spanish department stores, although a simple search on the web of this store does not yield any results on the term 'Tamagotchi', so everything indicates that we will have to wait a little more to book it.

"Like the original Tamagotchi, this mini Tamagotchi includes 6 different shells, including the original Japanese launch, and each includes 6 characters," the company reports on its official website. The only real change, however, will be the size of the screen: if we used to speak about 36x16 pixels in size, this special edition will be 16x16.
