The streaming music platform Spotify, continues to present interesting news in its services and now the good news is for artists. Through an official statement they just presented "RISE", a program that will boost new talent.
This new program aims to identify and launch to stardom new talents of music, singers who are already famous within the platform of streaming but need the last impulse to make themselves known.
Thanks to the 50 million Premium users, Spotify is committed to boosting the career of 16 artists annually. Although we still do not know how "disinterested" that aid is, they will probably end up charging something or at least making some profit.
How RISE will help new Spotify artists
The artists selected as part of this program receive marketing, editorial programming, promotion, special playlists, videos about the history of artists and even events sponsored by the application.
At the moment the first four artists selected are the German singer Kim Petras, Lauv, this artist occupies the 57th position among the most popular of Spotify something achieved thanks to his song 'I Like Me Better'. Russell Dickerson, country singer, and finally Trippie Redd, whose genre is punk rock music.
Being a superstar will now be much easier with the help of RISE, although at the moment it will only select artists from the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom.
