Optoma Opens Two New Home Theater Projectors, One Laser and One with DarbeeVision Technology

Optoma has put on sale two new home theater projectors with DLP technology focused on very different user ranges but looking for a computer with lamp of great luminosity and duration above 15,000 hours.

The first is the UHZ65, a device with laser light generation system that is capable of delivering a resolution of 3840x2160 pixels using XPR pixel fast scrolling technology. With a half-life of 20,000 hours, it is capable of generating an image of up to 3,000 lumens for use in rooms with some ambient light.

It has an excellent contrast of 2,000,000: 1 with Dynamic Black brand technology and is compatible with HDR10, extended color space and HDCP 2.2 through its HDMI 2.0 ports. It has vertical lens shift and 1.6X optical zoom.

The other model is the HD39Darbee, which as we can deduce from its name incorporates the technology of postprocessing image of the company Darbee, usually present in other devices like Blu-ray players, which improves the sharpness and contrast of the images.

In this case the resolution is 1080p although it includes support for 3D videos and the DarbeeVision system that we can activate from the menu of the projector giving the feeling of being before a computer with greater number of pixels. The brightness is up to 3,500 lumens, although the contrast is reduced to only 32,000: 1 with support for the color space REC.709. The lamp life is 15,000 hours, has 17% vertical lens shift and 1.6X optical zoom
