Dangers to planet earth exist and many. From the natural disasters themselves, through the hand of man, or the threats that come from outer space. And we do not talk about Aliens, we talk about nothing more and nothing less than an asteroid.
The 2012 Asterioid TC4 has just entered the orbit of the moon and has put on high alert all the organisms of monitoring space like NASA and other similar agencies of Europe and Asia.
This 2012 TC4 asteroid bears its name so because it was just discovered in 2012 in the Hawaiian Islands. Since then the scientists have been watching closely since they knew that late or early would be too close to the earth.
And it happened: last Wednesday the asteroid was only 44 thousand kilometers of impact with Earth. Maybe you look a lot like 44,000 kiometers, but in dimensions of space is nothing really.
While there was no risk of impact this time, it has served as a simulacrum to space scholars to test the security measures against possible impacts of celestial bodies into the future.
While it was so close, the scientists were able to gather enough data to calculate that it is 12 meters wide, and that the next approach will be in 2050, and then in 2079.
By 2050 it has already been confirmed that it should not impact the land, however over 2079 they still have their doubts, stating that if it could fall somewhere on the planet, said an ESA spokesman on several portals.
Studies, involving the influence of the Earth's gravitational force, ruled out that 12-meter-wide leather could hit our planet the next time it approaches 2050. However, the outcome remains to be seen by 2079.
Undoubtedly they are dangers that we do not all take into account but that can easily take us by surprise in the future. Although by that time humans will already have developed a super laser beam and asteroid goodbye.
