Logitech launches development kit and keyboard for virtual reality

Virtual reality continues to grow by leaps and bounds. And traditional computer companies, and especially hardware already have to think about it.

A clear example of how one of them accompanies innovation is Logitech. They recently launched a developer package called 'BRIDGE SDK'.

This kit includes a keyboard that allows you to enter text in virtual reality environments, as well as an accessory called Live Tracker, which is inserted near the keyboard. It is 100% compatible with apps that use the SteamVR environment.

Logitech apparently with this measure is trying that the physical keyboards that have been accompanying us for decades do not get lost in this maelstrom of new inventions and advances in technologies of virtual reality and artificial intelligence.

Its goal is that both in reality, and in virtual reality, enter letters, numbers and symbols from a keyboard feel as natural as possible.

As reported by Logitech spokespersons, the BRIDGE SDK will allow through software development to change the appearance and operation of the keyboard in what will be the virtual reality environment where it is in operation.

It is in beta testing and only about fifty lucky developers can access to work with it, after paying a bonus of $ 150 dollars each.
